Friendly and accommodating staff!
Food was very good as usual. My service was fine but the table next to me was complaining about the delay in getting their food. They ordered before me and another table but were last to get their meals. Only three of them. The staff was apologizing and seemed to care. Dark atmosphere at dinner which I like. No wait for me at about 7pm on Tuesday.
I was very pleased with my recent trip to Chang's. I was asked by my companion to go there as I have never been to one. I started with the dry rub rib appetizer(I would like it better without as much sugar in it but that's a personal choice of mine and shouldn't be considered as not delicious to others as the 5 spice was not overwhelming as in other places I've had similar rubs and that may be because of the sweet) ,my companion had sweet&sour soup and eggrolls,then we had Hunan beef and salt&pepper shrimp both were fabulous.we had drinks as well,she had the strawberry ginger margarita, and I had the whiskey sour and a shot of tequila. Now all that said we had a wonderful meal and very attentive but not bothering service and the pricetag was right about 79$ before the tip (I had to giggle a little when I saw the check cause I've spent much more for a meal as nice) ,I made a point to ask the server if they share tips with porters and bussers (I reccomend doing this to ensure your covering the level of service you receive and if a porter or busser has gone out of their way for you too then tip them independent of your server if they are not getting tipped out a share) and gave a nice 30% tip to let them know how pleased I was. I would also like to note that I really liked the music playing and the level of it that made conversations at the next table unnoticeable.
American style Chinese food gets the big American chain treatment. Fair enough. More like 3.5 stars.
Great food, Great quality
Sushi isn't so hot, but the main dishes are pretty good. Prices are a little high but a place like this is as much atmosphere as meal. Fun date night but not my go to Chinese place.
